Staff follow our School Policy, available from the School Office, on the dispensing of short term prescribed medicines such as cough medicines and antibiotics. Medicines can only be administered upon completion of our medical information form and all medicines brought into school must be clearly labelled with the child’s name and dosage and must be given directly to a member of staff. Where it is possible, you as a parent may come into school to administer medication providing you let the appropriate staff know in advance. If your child has a specific medical condition requiring medication, please contact the Headteacher.
Please do not send medicines of any kind to school with your child to keep in their bag.
