Welcome to Nursery, Dosbarth Alyn. Mrs Johnson is the Nursery teacher. Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Davies also support pupils with their learning.We hope your year will be the perfect start to your time at Ysgol Sant Dunawd.
We aim to ensure that your child has a happy time in school, learning through fun play experiences. We support every child to develop their curiosity and exploration, whilst encouraging them to become independent resilient learners and build strong friendships.
In the Autumn term we spend lots of time getting to know your child and for them to become familiar with our classroom environment, both inside and outside. There will be plenty of opportunities for them to learn and play together ensuring that they know where everything is and how to use it. Ensuring your child feels a sense of ownership of their learning environment is essential as it is this that creates opportunities for them to begin making progress in all areas of learning right from their first few days with us.
